Litter control
1. Dispensers for dog poo bags. Bags must be refilled. Encourages people to pick up after their pets. Present home-made bottles are definitely used by dog walkers.
2. Secondhand pool fencing or galvanised grates for litter fences in storm water inlets.
3. Litter pick-up tongs (Litter-man tongs are preferred, cost R150 each)
4. Litter bins in wood-look recycled PVC
PPE and equipment
Chest waders, gumboots, gloves, work overalls in green, safety glasses.
Kayak paddles for our work on the water
Railway sleepers for pathway edging
Cash donations
Cash is used for running expenses such as labour and consumables.
