WILD FLOWERS
Grasslands are not just grasses - indigenous wild flowers, bulbs and shrubs grow in between, which attract insects and butterflies.
Many flowers are host plants for butterflies, such as Chamaecrista mimosoides for the Broad-bordered Grass Yellow.
Only plants which are native to the region are shown, not 'garden escapes' which have established themselves here.
